Single-Tab Aluminum Foils for PCR and StorageWrightwood, CA. January 10, 2006. New AlumaSeal 96TM and AlumaSeal 384TM aluminum foils from Excel Scientific are classic single-tab-design adhesive sealing foils for protecting samples in microplates during PCR gene amplification or cold storage. AlumaSeal 96 foils are designed to fit easily inside the rim of raised-rim plates. Both foils and their adhesives are heat and cold resistant, recommended for temperatures from -80 °C to +150 °C, and certified free of DNase, RNase, and nucleic acid.
