Sealing Films with Color-Coded End Tabs

Wrightwood, CA. July 10, 2005. New ColorTabTM end tabs, now available on Excel Scientific SealPlate® and EZ-PierceTM microplate sealing films, have printed color dots and white writing areas to simplify plate identification. The end tabs, adhesive backed and perforated, can be left in place to maintain plate identity even when the center portion of a sealing film is removed. Alternatively, one inscribed color-coded end tab can be removed and pasted in a laboratory notebook while the other remains on the plate for identification. Select from five dot colors (green, lavender, orange, red, blue) in single-color or combination packs.
