Pierceable Sealing Films Prevent Adhesive Fouling

Wrightwood, CA. September 5, 2004. Excel Scientific introduces EZ-PierceTM Zone-FreeTM sealing films for robotic autosampling and sample-storage in 96-well microplates. Especially useful for laboratories performing chromatographic analyses, these chemical-resistant films seal and protect samples while providing an adhesive-free area - pierceable by a pipet tip, needle or robotic probe - directly over each sample, thus allowing individual sample recovery without fouling of the probe by adhesive residue. Dual end tabs and clear zones for sighting through to wells facilitate accurate alignment on the plate.
